Ekvik, Värmdö

Swimming beach with bathing jetty and boat jetty below the house. With the historic Wermdö golf course (18 holes) as a neighbor, the house is ideally located for those interested in golf. At the golf club, you can pay a daily fee for a round of golf, book tennis or paddle and/or use the outdoor pool. Of course, there is also a restaurant at the clubhouse. Ekvik is close to both Stockholm and central Värmdö, yet secluded in a charming and rural idyll with exceptionally beautiful surroundings and lands that for centuries belonged to and were used by surrounding manors.

The single-storey villa has a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a dining area by the bay window at an angle which provides a beautiful light. Living room with sofa and smart TV and exit to the large outdoor room with sliding doors, lounge furniture and dining area. Here you have a beautiful lake view towards Grisslingefjärden. On the wooden deck directly outside there is a Weber grill, spa bath and sun loungers.

The master bedroom is a fantastic room with lovely open space and large bay windows facing the water.
Comfortable armchairs, a luxurious double bed 180 x 200 cm and a large fireplace (not in use).
Bedroom 2 is cozy with a comfortable single bed 90 x 200 cm and a desk.
Bedroom 3 has large windows up to the ridge towards the water, double bed 180 x 200 cm, TV and exit to the conservatory.
Large bathroom with shower, bathtub and sauna.
Guest room with desk and wardrobes. The small sofa bed from bedroom 3 can be placed here if a guest wishes a 4th bedroom for children/junior.
Guest toilet is in the hall by the entrance.

Guesthouse can be booked for an additional fee. Furnished for 1-2 people with a 120 cm wide single bed, and a sofa bed for 2 persons and TV.

Playhouse, trampoline, creeper.

It is about 4 km to Värmdö shopping centre.

In Gustavsberg's center (6.5 km) there are shops, galleries, studios, a museum as well as nice cafes and restaurants. There is also a lovely bathhouse with swimming pools, adventure pool, relaxation and gym.

At Strömma (approx. 6 km) there is a popular tavern and bar by the canal (summer time), where you can have good food and drinks directly on the pier.
From Strömma you can also take a regular boat to the outer archipelago or to Stockholm.

Distance Stockholm approx. 30 km/ 30 minutes by car/bus.
Very good bus connections.
