Lovely house with high and sunny south west facing stunning views of the archipelago. The house is light and airy with lavish materials and tasteful, stylish furnishings.

A partially open floor plan with 4 m to the ridge and the large windows facing the sea offers wonderful panoramic views and plenty of natural light.

The spacious living room has a sofa with a divan, Chromecast TV and dining area. In the second part of the room there is a well-equipped kitchen.
The house has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Bedroom one with double bed (160 * 200).The second bedroom with two single beds (90* 200 cm.) The sleeping loft has a double bed (140 * 200cm ). Bathroom with WC and shower.

Large terrace towards the sea with garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. Sun from southwest. Another wooden deck on the other side of the house with sun in the morning.
The big plot of land 7500 m2, consists of beautiful rocky ground with lovely thinned low-growing trees. In front of the house there is a steep slope down to Ägnöfjärden. Below the house you can swim from cliffs, but it's a steep climb to get down. A small walking path takes you in few minutes to a jetty and more cliffs, and a children friendly beach is 10 minutes’ walk from the house. There is also a wonderful swimming lake within 10 minutes walking distance. You are allowed to fish freely in both the sea and the small lake.

Fagerholm is a beautiful and rural part of Ingarö. There is a tennis court, forest trails and fine winding gravel roads for leisurely walks and bike rides. On Ingarö and surroundings there is much fun to do and many exciting destinations. Kayak rentals, diving and trails. Also golf course 18 + 18 hole + mini golf. In the main village Gustavsberg you will find indoor swimming center with relaxation, fitness etc. There is also abundant cultural exhibits, museum and last but not the least pleasant restaurants by the sea.

-Hiking maps with guide description in English
-The owners may (if there is time and the weather conditions are good) offer boat trips in the archipelago or into Stockholm
-They also offer guiding on MTB bikes in the forests of Ingarö. Applies to those who have their own MTB bikes.

Distances to Stockholm about 32 km (about 30 min by car).

Wir haben unseren Herbsturlaub hier in diesem wunderschönen Haus mit sehr netten Vermietern sehr genossen: Mitten in der Natur gelegen mit wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen sowie die vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, ob zu Fuss, mit dem Auto oder mit dem Boot über die Inseln sowie nach Stockholm.

Nach einer anstrengenden Städte-Tour durch Hamburg, Kopenhagen und Stockholm waren wir die 1. September-Woche 2024 im Ferienhaus von Iben und Bengt Axen auf der schönen Schären-Insel Ingarö. Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen und bestens ausgestatteten Schwedenhaus gleich wohl gefühlt. Wer mal Ruhe braucht und die Abgeschiedenheit mag, ist dort genau richtig. Natur pur, Stille und Frieden und dann diese Mega-Aussicht auf die Schären bis hin nach Stockholm. Wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen an den gigantischen, all abendlichen Sonnenuntergängen. Sogar unser Wohnzimmer erstrahlte im untergehenden Sonnenlicht. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und einige Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren unternommen. Auch haben wir mit der Fähre die Schären-Insel Sandön besucht, die sich ziemlich weit draußen auf dem offenen Meer befindet. Der Ort Sandhamn ist sehr schön mit seinen bunten Holzhäusern, die an Astrid-Lindgren-Verfilmungen erinnern. Außerdem ist Sandhamn Original Schauplatz für die beliebte Krimiserie „Mord im Mittsommer“. Alles in allem war es eine wunderbare und erholsame Urlaubswoche auf Ingarö. Gerne wieder :-

Ein herrliches Ferienhaus oberhalb des Wassers mit traumhaften Blick auf die Landschaft. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und sind nach zwei Wochen ungern gefahren. Die Natur vor der Tür oder eine Fahrt ins nahe Stockholm machen diesen Urlaubsort sehr vielseitig. Einziges Manko waren die sehr weichen Schaumstoffmatratzen im Schlafboden.

We passed a very pleasant week at Ägnöfjärden. The location is great and the view is amazing. The terrace and the house offer a lot of space and are very well furnished. The landlords are warm, uncomplicated and very helpful. It's a place to come back to.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche auf Ingarö. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen überwältigenden Blick von der Terrasse über das Meer und die Inseln. Jeden Tag aufs neue waren wir begeistert und hätten am liebsten den Augenblick angehalten. Ein Ort an dem der Tag nicht lang genug sein kann. Hinter dir der Wald mit vielen Wegen und Heidelbeeren zum satt essen, vor dir das Meer mit Panormaview und herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen. Je nach Wetter kann man alles von der Terrasse oder hinter der großen Glasfront genießen. Gern wären wir noch geblieben. Stockholm liegt vor der Haustür und ist dennoch ausreichend weit weg um sowohl die Großstadt zu erleben als die Abgeschiedenheit der Natur. Ein kleines schwedisches Paradies.

Ein wunderschönes Haus im Wald, dass sich durch große Fenster und eine perfekte Terrasse zu den Schären hin öffnet. Von Sonnenaufgang bis Sonnenuntergang ein traumhafter Blick. Wer die Stockholmer Schären genießen möchte, ist hier ganz bestimmt richtig: die Nähe zu Stockholm, die Nähe zum Wasser, ein wunderbarer Wald, in dem man unter jedem Felsen einen Rumpelwicht vermutet, Rehe, die morgens vorbeischauen...besser kann man nicht entspannen. Und sehr nette Vermieter, die sich sofort kümmern, wenn man Fragen hat.

Wir hatten im August und September 2022 zwei wunderbare Ferienwochen in diesem sehr schönen Haus. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich schön und das Haus ist sehr modern, schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Besitzer Bengt Axen wohnt nebenan. Er hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, war diskret und immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Die Bootstour mir ihm nach Stockholm war ein Höhepunkt unserer Reise. Ende August war das Wasser zum Baden im See und im Meer mit 20 Grad gut, aber Anfang September wurde es etwas kühl. Wir haben dann einfach Besichtigungen gemacht. Die Gottesdienste in der Schwedischen Kirche in Gustavsberg und in Värmdö waren sehr beeindruckend.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche an diesem ganz besonderen und magischen Ort verbracht. Das gemütliche und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus, die einzigartige Lage mit atemberaubenden Blick über den Fjord, inmitten ursprünglicher Natur, die Ruhe, die Möglichkeit innerhalb von 5 Minuten im Fjord oder im 10 Minuten entfernten See schwimmen zu gehen, idyllische Wanderungen in nächster Umgebung zu unternehmen oder einfach die Stille und den Ausblick auf der großen Holzterrasse zu genießen, nicht zu vergessen die herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft von Bengt und Iben, machen die Zeit in Ägnöfjärden zu einem unvergleichlichen Urlaubserlebnis.

The photos don't lie! This is heaven on earth! We've just come home from three amazing days in the house and we are still walking on clouds. We were a bit worried that we were booking so late in the summer. But the view, the house and the surroundings doesn't care about the weather. Especially the view is spectacular no matter the weather. (We would even book it in the middle of the winter.) Can't wait to get back here again!

Det var en perfekt semester på Ingarö ön. Vi hade allt vi behövde i huset och området. Utsikten i bilderna är även bättre i verkligheten. Även om det regnat hela tiden så skulle vyn har varit imponerande och lugnande. Ska inte glömma detta ställe snart och förhoppningsvis kommer tillbaka.

Fantastic view, very quiet and high level of comfort. You can swim in a lake 10 min walk from the house, play tennis at the same distance for 75 kr/hour and you have a vast array of stores only 10 min by car from the house. Very friendly and quiet area, great hospitality and openness from the locals.

The house is located on a rock with a super view! It is located in a forest area, very quiet and idyllic. The house is decorated very cosy, absolutely good for feeling well. The furnishing of the house did not leave anything to wish for. The internet connection is super! The hosts very friendly and always ready to answer our questions. We felt very well here! PS: A few less points on children suitability because the rocks on the seaside are a bit steep. You should watch that if you have small children.

Unsere Ferien hätten schöner nicht sein können: Das Haus, die Ausstattung und die Lage — es fehlte an nichts. Der Ausblick ist in der Tat atemberaubend schön und das Haus größer als es auf den Bildern erscheint. Und nicht zuletzt sind Iben und Bengt sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns herzlich in Empfang nahmen. Eine Bootsfahrt mit Bengt durch den Schärengarten war schließlich ein toller Abschluss unserer Ferienwoche. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder!

We highly recommend this listing with stunning view and tasteful interior layout with careful attention to detail. Cliffs to jump from and a lake nearby with a small beach for children. The host was kind, organized, and always very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and wish to return one day.

Ein wunderschön ausgestattetes Haus mit phenomenaler Aussicht, sauber und von gutem Standard. In 30 Minuten in Stockholm, 10 min. zum Supermarkt und 10 min. zum Badesee.Eine absolute Stille welche zum kompletten Entspannen beiträgt. The house is great. Modern, clean and good quality. The view over the sea is very nice and gives the house a great deal of natural light. The location is peaceful, with nice woodland walks down to the coast and nearby lakes. The loft room isn’t very accessible and wouldn’t be suitable for all.

The house Ägnöfjärden is beautifully located on a cliff above the Ägnöfjärden. It is well maintained and well equipped. The terrace offers a superb view over the fjärden, especially in the morning (with the light) and before/at sunset. Unfortunately there is much shade on the terrace. The owners Bengt and Iben and very friendly and helpful.

In August 2017, we spent a week in this wonderful house, 4 persons. We enjoyed it a lot, the view from the terrasse is spectacular. And the house itself is very clean and nice. The location in the northern forest gives immediately a feeling of relaxation. Sure the toilet system is a bit getting used to with its combustion system, but no problem for that. Thank you very much, Bengt and Iben, for showing us everything and your help for everything!

Hej, hei! Wir haben tolle zwei Wochen in diesem schönen und gut eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Die super Lage, (ruhig und doch ist Stockholm in einer 1/2 Std. erreichbar), die schöne Aussicht, die verschiedenen Bademöglichkeiten, mehrere Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung und die super nette Betreuung durch das Besitzerpaar, haben unsere Ferien unvergesslich gemacht! A great place in a lovely environment. The house is fully equipped and very homely. And the hosts are super nice and helpful. Highly recommendable if you want to spend a relaxing time away from noise and busyness and yet be close enough to infrastructure and Stockholm. Das Ferienhaus hat eine sehr schöne Lage mit einem tollen Ausblick. Am Abend konnten wir die herrlichen Sonnenuntergänge geniessen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Durch die Fensterfront ist das Haus hell. Dadurch fühlt man sich auch an den Regentagen mitten in der Natur. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Einen lieben Dank noch an die sehr netten Vermieter.

We spent a wonderful week in Ingarö! The house has the most beautiful view over the "Schären" and the ocean. Bengt is a nice host and you will definitely enjoy your stay! / Sabine from Germany

Dear Magdalena, thank you for your kind mail, we spent the most marvelous week in Fagerholm. Everything was perfect, the boats finally arrived (unfortunately one day later, which was a bit a shame for the children!!, but you can´t have everything). Dear Team of Skargardsstugor, We spent a wonderful week in Ingarö Ägnöfjärden. We have seen a lot of Cottages in the past, but never a house with such an amazing and fantastic view.The equipment in the house was pretty good. The kitchen was fully completed and it was a pleasure to cook. Unfortunely the wheather was a little bit to cold for june, but we have used the time to visit Stockholm. It's really worth to see the capital. By bus you need only 25 minutes from Gustavberg. At this place we want to say thank you very much. The communication to your office was a pleasure. Dear team of skargardsstugor, back home again, we want to thank you very much. We had a good time in this fantastic house at this fantastic place on Ingarö. Many thanks also to the owners of the house that they changed their own plans and allowed us to stay in this period. Unfortunately, we missed them to say good bye when they where in the neighbourhood last weekend. Perhaps you can tell them about or forward our e-mail with best regards.
