Betsedesjön, Gustavsberg

Located at Lake Betsede with lovely sea view, shared jetty you can bathe off just next to the property and close proximity to beach by the sea. Nice walking paths in rural environment with untouched nature and on the same time close to Stockholm (20 min by car). Betsede just north of Gustavsberg is an old summer cottage area with sustained rural character and beautiful surroundings. The close proximity to Stockholm is one of the reasons many families chose to live here permanently, having caused the change of many summer cottages into permanent standard houses.

The house has got high standard with an open floor plan between living room and kitchen. The living room has got a sofa with divan, TV and open fire place. The added glass veranda has got a nice dining area with panoramic windows facing the scenic view of water glittering behind the trees. One bedroom with double bed (180*200 cm spring mattress), second bed room with two single beds (120*200, 90*200) (an extra bed can be delivered before guests arrive). New bathroom with WC and shower.

Beautiful and sunny garden (bordering to Nature Reserve) with child-friendly lawns and trampoline. Nice multilevel patios with seating and lounge furniture as well as a large Weber barbecue.

Adjacent to the house there are nice hiking areas in a Nature Reserve with a hiking trail around Lake Betsede/Ösby träsk. You can go swimming at the community jetty just next to the house and enjoy the sunset as well as take a night dip off the cliffs 200 m away. The water is much warmer in the lake than in the sea, but the lovely little sea beach at Betsede Bay a few minutes walking distance away is still well worth visiting.
In Gustavsberg you’ll find stores, bakery with café, restaurants, sport area with tennis course, skate park and indoor pool with adventure section, relax and gym. There’s also a library, art galleries, studios and a Porcelain Museum. From the harbour area you can take a regular ferry to Stockholm a few times per day.
