Ramsö Vaxholm

The main house for 8 people was built in 1934 and has been carefully. Great care was taken to preserve the old charm of the house. Offering stunning sea views, space and light. Additional you can ad the guest houes with 2 beds and wc.

Comfortable furniture, a large parasol and a gas BBQ can be found out on the large deck. The deck offers some evening sun, making this the perfect spot to enjoy dinner. Morning sun can be enjoyed on the other deck. There is a robust jetty down by the beach and the water is clean and safe. In the small outhouse you will find deck chairs, toys for the children, a surf board, and fishing rods amongst other things. Available is also a rowing boat, SUP and a kayak, which can be booked and used for an additional fee. The house is surrounded by a lush garden with fruit trees, lawns, bushes full of berries, a vegetable patch and a small herb garden.

The main house has three stories;
The basement has one large room with a small kitchen, a stove with two hotplates, dining area and a door leading out to the garden. There is a large double bed (180 x 200 cm) as well as a bunk bed in this room. This floor has a wood stove, shower and toilet.

The ground floor has a large kitchen, dining area, living room, wood stove and a toilet.

The second floor has one small bed room with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) as well as one large bed room offering three single beds in sleeping alcoves. Each alcove has a curtain which can be pulled across for privacy – perfect for the children! The hallway on the second floor has one additional sleeping alcove and a bed sofa 160+200 cm.

In addition to the main house, there is a sauna house and a large terrace deck at the beach house included. The beach house is not included in the rental and is not used during rental periods.

You can, by agreement, rent a small guest house approx. 10 m2 with a double bed 140*200 cm, wc and sink.

The large house offer 10 beds for flexibility but maximum number of guests in this house are 8 people. The small cottage can be rented separately for convenience or to provide space for a maximum of 10 people.

In Vaxholm, a 10-minute boat trip away or 5 minutes by your own boat / taxi boat, you will find small-scale shopping, summer restaurants, cafes and ice cream bars and a grocery store/ supermarket. There is also a large park with a playground and mini golf. Vaxholm is also a connection for regular boat connections to many other archipelago islands.

Ramsö is very easily accessible. You can get here by public boat from central Stockholm (1 hour and 20 minutes journey), or you can take the bus, taxi or drive yourself to Vaxholm and then the public boat there and get to Ramsö in ten minutes.
There is also the option of hiring a taxi boat. Going from Vaxholm with taxi boat to the private bridge takes five to ten minutes.
From Arlanda you can go by taxi fore a fixed price.

The 2 houses offer accomodation for 8+2 persons.
